This hostel has been named after late Prof. D.S. Kothari who was an outstanding teacher, a great educationist and a renowned physicist. The D. S. Kothari Hostel was established in 1997. It has 40 double seated rooms and 19 single seated rooms for Men with a capacity of 99 seats for PG, M.Phil and Ph.D Programmes of the University of Delhi. Tucked in the Kamla Nehru Ridge near the University Road, it is a popular hostel known for its peaceful, multicultural and vibrant academic spaces for students from different part of India and abroad.
